Art + Kids

 Last Saturday I did art with the kids for the day. We had a wonderful day exploring lots of different mediums and looking at different artists. This activity the kids were reproducing one of Klimts landscapes with their fingers, collaboratively. I look forward to doing more days like this!!

Monkey Bars

Sean has made the kids monkey bars! This was at the grand opening and they love them. I remember the stage we went through in primary school addicted to the challenge of monkey bars and the tricks we could do on them! The opening provided many laughs :)

Rocks

  We climbed the Mandu Mandu Gorge near Exmouth and we walked on these white pebbles for several hundred metres which i found interesting and then around the top i found the rock which has worn away with many different rocks within it.

Weekends away

Over the school holidays i went on a few weekend trips away from the station, to Exmouth & Coral Bay. We stayed this night at Maud Point near Coral Bay. We had a beautiful beach to ourselves & I felt like a real backpacker living out of our car. We then trekked back to the station and picked up another Wwoofer on the way which made a VERY full car for the final 150km of dirt road with 4 people, 3 swags, backpackers pack and various camping items!
